Decent picture quality, needs speaker upgrade December 28, 2009 S. Kuczek (Bloomfield, NJ USA) Bought this unit last December and have used it since. No reliability issues so far. Mounted under cabinet, mine was missing the mounting template. Take care if downloading template from site as it may not print with correct dimensions. No customer support to speak of called numerous times and emailed w/o any replies.
PROS: Good picture quality, unit folds up under cabinet, wide screen format, can invert picture for different mounting positions.
CONS: Poor sound quality, esp. at higher volume, viewing angle critical under counter, does not swivel for better viewing. Poor customer service.
Good TV, good value December 27, 2009 D. Batka (Chicago, IL) Overall happy with the TV, good reception, so so sound, but still a good value.
perfect for a ps3/xbox 360 monitor December 26, 2009 Hans R. Frey (Newtown, CT United States) bought this unit for 99 bucks refurbished and for that price this is a homerun. For people looking for a monitor to take their ps3 or xbox 360 along the ride , just plug it into the hdmi and you get clear 1080i quality. Yes , the sound isnt great, but good enought , you can always add aditional speakers like the portable altec lansing 600 unit for example. like the USB input too!
Below average TV November 10, 2009 Clement (Texas) 1 out of 2 found this review helpful
Bought this TV for our workout room but was disappointed and returned it. I connected it to basic digital cable but the picture wasn't clear and was grainy. The audio is underpowered, not that clear and has no bass. With a DVD, the picture did improve some and the audio was a bit clearer. The design is great and would make a great table TV if the audio/video was better and it had a few more cable connection options.
Buyer Beware: You get what you pay for November 9, 2009 B. Campbell (Bonney Lake, WA) 3 out of 3 found this review helpful
It's a cheap product. While you will be impressed with the picture quality (sound is AWFUL), be warned that you will only enjoy it for a short time. Product reliability is well below average.
Do yourself a favor and invest in a little better quality now and save yourself the headache of replacing this unit after the 18 months it will last. Extended warranties/service plans DO NOT make owning this worth the hassle.
